Hi, I’m Jen.

I write speculative fiction that drifts toward the odd corners of things—the liminal, the uncanny, the almost-forgotten. I have a website here, but everything is also on Substack.

Expect folklore tangled with soft sci-fi, quiet horror, and stories that feel like they’ve been left out in the rain too long (but still hum with something electric underneath).

This Substack is my storytelling ground. You’ll find short fiction, strange little experiments, behind-the-scenes ramblings, and the occasional creative writing article when I remember to be useful.

When I’m not writing, I’m usually walking the Jurassic Coast, building strange worlds in my head, or drinking coffee and pretending it’s part of the process.
